As Creative Director at GreenCross Publishing, one of my first tasks was to redesign their flagship title The Medical Independent to mark the paper’s 10th anniversary. We combined the launch of the new design with the move toward high-quality compostable and recyclable newsprint (made from a proportion of recycled paper).

The first issue was released on 4 July 2019 through an enormous effort from the editorial and design team, together with the distributers and UK-based printers.

Other titles, including Irish Pharmacist and OTC, are undergoing redesigns. We aim to bring a fresh new look across all titles over the coming months.
